The CM40A replaces the original CM20. The CM40A with its thicker post for strength works with both the standard and large format Cornermate cutting units. Introduced in 2006 a “Reduced Effort” Cornermate Table, Model CM40SPCL, requires half the effort of the standard CM40A and also utilizes the same adapter to permit the use of the standard and large format cutting units.

Powered Cornermate.

Electric Cornermate™, ECM:  The new ECM includes a larger work surface, “power-on” indicator light, and stronger case.  The operating speed is variable, and the design of the case makes it possible to mount it flush with the work surface.  The ECM only works with the standard cutting units. This item is available only in 110V and by special order.

Air Powered Cornermate™, CM40AIR:  Introduced in February 2009, the new air powered press is activated by a foot pedal with each stroke of the pedal producing one cycle of the press. The CM40AIR works with all of the original Cornermate cutting units, including the 3/4" and 1" large format units that fit in the CM40A hand model. A rotating table adapter comes standard and allows the user to change the orientation of the cutting units for easier slot and hole punching for side orientations.
