The V-Punch is a hole punch for lightweight materials designed, developed and manufactured by AccucutterŽ. It provides flexibility in the size and location of holes, and, with the addition of steel side plates, it now has an increased capacity. (See below)

The V-Punch consists of the punch and table combination shown above, handle, stripper plate and interchangeable hole punch or punch & die. The punch & die sets used in the V-Punch are standard industry items available from Roper Whitney and other companies. The table has several drilled and tapped holes that can be used to set guides or stops. Three punch & die sets are included; 3/32", 1/8" and 3/16". Stainless steel alignment guides are available for purchase and enable the operator to develop set ups for repetitive tasks.

The picture to the right shows the stripper plate and punch & die. To change the punch & die, the stripper plate (silver with a clear plastic bottom) is removed. The punch (the male portion) is removed by loosening the set screw. Once the stripper plate and punch are removed, the square plate holding the die (the female portion) can be removed providing access to the die. The plate is held in place with two screws and located with two pins.  The new die is installed in the plate, and the plate is reinstalled in the table. Next the new punch and the stripper plate are installed to complete the change over.
