4" Chopper Shear
(Model 1001)

The Chopper is a portable 4" shear with a guillotine
style action featuring "What you see is what you cut!"®.
With the metal finger guard in place, the cutting edges of the blades are visible so you can always see
what and where you are cutting. This feature is standard on all
accucutter® shears.
The Chopper's light weight, seven pounds, makes it easy to carry
around the shop from one area to another while its guillotine style
cutting action assure clean, flat, square cuts every time. The shear has a three point stance so it sits firmly on uneven work surfaces.
The Chopper's unique, compact design is another original
design by accucutter®. Of course, it's made in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Drop-Off Gauge
The 1001 has a simplified, measured drop-off gauge
consisting of a sliding block on a rod. It is an invaluable aid for making
accurate, repetitive cuts.
Operator's Manual
An Operator’s Manual is included with every
1001 Shear. The manual provides
information and instructions concerning the set up and proper use of the shear,
installing and adjusting the shear blades, and proper maintenance and safety procedures.
In addition, accucutter® is always available by telephone to provide the shear operator
with advice and assistance.
